When the rains fail, the line forms
When a drought drags on, the riverbeds run dry and the herds a family counts on are lost. The line outside our feeding point starts before sunrise — parents with children on their backs, waiting for a plate of fortified porridge and a measured ration to take home.

How a nurse measures recovery
Every child who reaches the line gets a colour band wrapped around the upper arm — the same tool clinics use worldwide to catch malnutrition early.
Children often arrive in the red. With a daily plate and a take-home ration, the goal is to move every child toward the green — and to record each one as they go.
Your gift buys exactly that plate. the campaign organizer runs the line on behalf of the children in our community, with the aim of reporting back — meals served, children screened, who moved from red to green — so you can follow the line as it holds.
